When your system is alarming first silence the alarm if audible by looking for a silence/mute button or switch on your septic control panel. Call us ASAP at 330-722-4262 so we can schedule the soonest available appointment to resolve any issues. Until we arrive, slow down water usage to avoid a backup.

Anti-bacterial soaps and bleach will have an affect on the good bacteria built up in your system.Bleach and soaps kill of good and bad bacteria the system needs to break down and treat the waste. We advise to use bleach sparingly and use soaps as needed to keep system operating optimally.

If a smell arises out of your drains we advise you to check the alarm light on your control panel first. Run water through all traps and in sinks and drains as well as checking venting to make sure there is not a blockage.
